About
Joe Spelic
Principal
Joe brings more than 35 years of experience in sales, fundraising, and nonprofit development, with a career built around one enduring principle: people do business with people.
That relationship-first philosophy has shaped the way he works with donors, nonprofit leaders, clients, and development teams. He understands that successful fundraising is not simply about campaigns or transactions. It is about building trust, strengthening relationships, and creating long-term connections that support an organization’s mission.
Throughout his career, Joe has worked across nearly every aspect of nonprofit development. He directed a team of Major Donor Officers at the Denver Rescue Mission, built development teams for two nonprofit organizations, and has helped organizations strengthen the systems, strategies, and leadership behind their fundraising efforts.
As the owner of a printing and direct mail company serving organizations nationwide, he also brings a practical understanding of donor communication and campaign execution. His experience includes donor acquisition, direct mail strategy, annual giving, and general fund campaigns designed to build sustained engagement rather than short-term results.
He also has extensive experience in donor wealth screening and prospect identification, helping organizations better understand their existing donor base and focus their efforts on the opportunities with the greatest potential.
At the center of his work is a desire to help nonprofits build stronger, more sustainable fundraising programs. Joe combines decades of experience with a practical, relationship driven approach that keeps the focus where it belongs: on the people, partnerships, and connections that make meaningful growth possible.
“People do business with people.”
